September Favourites

I can’t believe that it’s September already and that the Summer’s nearly over. Soon enough it’ll be cold weather and crunchy leaves and Autumn will be here. Before that though, It’s been a little while since I’ve done a favourites of the month blog so I thought I would share some of my favourite products that I am using at the moment.

LUSH Snow Fairy shower gel

Every year at a certain time of year LUSH bring out their pink, sweet and sweetie like Snow Fairy range to their stores in time for the festive season. They brought it out slightly earlier this year roughly around when the Barbie movie came out in the UK and were also selling Barbie themed products throughout their lush stores. I was intrieged and tempted to but something from the range but decided to stick to my old favourite Snow Fairy shower gel. It’s such a lovely scent and I love getting it out at a certain time of year when it hits the shelves.

Color Wow Color Security Shampoo

I bought this shampoo after years of trying to get the right shampoo that works for my colour treated dry hair. I just wasn’t getting what I really wanted in terms of quality and something that was good for my dry hair, so after going to my hairdressers one time I asked them what products they were using on my hair as it always seemed so glossy and in such good condition after I’d been. They told me that they had been using the Color Security Shampoo by Color Wow to cleanse it so I bit the bullet and decided to purchase some. I tend to use higher quality professional hair care now and I really notice the difference. This product leaves my hair looking soft, silky and shiny.

OPI Nail Lacquer in shade ‘Exercise Your Brights’

I haven’t worn nail varnish in quite a while so thought I’d buy a nice vibrant colour that was good quality. A good quality nail varnish makes all the difference In how the finished result looks so I opted for this lovely bright pink colour by OPI. I recently worn it on my toenails and they lasted over 4 weeks. I also love the cover and the finish it gives.

Tom Ford Cream Colour For Eyes Eyeshadow in shade Sphinx

I came across this beautiful colour eyeshadow after searching around for a shimmery eyeshadow. It’s a lovely creamy shadow, a really original and pretty colour and I can wear it in the day aswell as the evening. I’ve had to put a stopper on how much I’m using it at the moment as I’ve had quite a bit wear out of it so far.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eyeliner

I’ve always been a little bit afraid of eyeliner on myself. I find that if the colour’s too harsh I can look a bit washed out and pale so I wanted one that complimented me and that didn’t appear too harsh. One of the lovely make up artists at Charlotte Tilbury in John Lewis tried this on me and I was pleasantly surprised with how it looked. It’s a lovely berry colour and it seems to work well with my colourings and gives some pop to my eyes.

7th Heaven Charcoal Mud Mask

I’ve liked 7th Heaven masks for a number of years now. I’ve dabbled with the peel off and the clay masks and It’s the clay masks that seem to work really well with me. I left this mask on for about 10 minutes as I have sensitive skin and it really seems to get in to and de – clog the pores. Charcoal Mud is one of my favourite masks I’ve used by 7th Heaven and it didn’t make me react or cause sensitivity which is a bonus.

Britney Spears Curious Eau De Parfum

Curious first came out in 2004. I bought it a couple of years after after trying it in a department store. It’s still one of my favourite fragrances that I’ve bought. It’s a lovely sweet, floral scent with notes such as vanilla, musk, sandalwood, jasmine, pear & magnolia. I hadn’t worn it in years so decided to buy some. I like it just as much now as I did then.

I hope you enjoyed this months favourites.
