March Favourites

Hello, and welcome back to another one of my blogs. This blog will feature some of my favourite products from the month of March. As you might know by now if you’ve been following some of my posts, I love make up and beauty and I like to indulge in new products when I can.

So without further ado, here are my favourite products from March.

Kat Von D Go Big or Go Home Volumising Mascara. (Mini) £11.00

This mascara was a nice surprise apon using it. With 2 coats my lashes although looked natural, I did find that they did look more lengthened and volumised, and with another they looked even more so. This is a buildable and I’ve also tried doing a few more coats when I’ve been going out somewhere nice. As stated before I was pleasantly surprised as once I took the wand out of the tube it didn’t look like it picked up as much mascara compared to other mascaras I’ve used, but once I put it on it was great. I would recommend giving it a swirl around the tube a couple of times before using it. The brush is also a little bigger then previous ones I’ve used but it applied the product nicely. It also is a vegan formula so it has olive and sunflower oils in it Instead if beeswax.

Morphe 2 Happy Glaze Lipgloss in shade All Smiles £10.00

I saw this lipgloss online and just thought it was so pretty. It’s a lovely shimmery light orange/pink colour and is lovely for Spring. I tend to wear it on its own but it also works well on top of lipstick. It also look lovely with an orange or pink eyeshadow which I like to pair it with.

Morphe Mega Matte Bold Lipstick in shade Passionate £12.00

Another product from Morphe, I wanted a nice vibrant colour lipstick in my make up collection and came across this beautiful shade. I usually like shimmery and dewy make up but thought that this bold Matte colour was so lovely. It’s highly pigmented and it doesn’t feel dry which I really liked. It also has good staying power!

Benefit Gimme Brow volumising gel £23.50

I first purchased this last year and ran out this month and quickly got another one. It’s such a good little product and tints and volumizes my eyebrows without looking unnatural or too dark. I use shade 3.75 in warm medium brown and it suits me just fine. It just gives that little extra something to my eyebrows. I either wear it on its own or with Benefits Precisely my Brow Pencil.

Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick in shade Rouge a Levres £18.00

Going for something a little bit bolder, I decided to go for this quirky, matte grey colour. I had seen it on different people on TV and the Internet, and I thought that It looked so nice but never even thought of buying it. However, over the past few years my tastes are changing and I wanted to purchase it for myself. Yes it is a little different, but it makes a nice change in my make up collection and surprisingly goes well with different make up and clothes I wear. I like to wear it with a natural shimmery, gold eyeshadow on the eyes.

Sally Hansen Insta – Dri Nail Polish in shade Shooting Star £4.99

I haven’t bought a nail varnish in a long while and I wanted a change from wearing a clear polish which I usually wear. I saw this and just thought it was such a lovely colour. It has gold and ⁹holographic glitter in and works well both on its own or on top of another colour.

Redken All Soft Heavy Cream Treatment £22.95

I hadn’t used an intense conditioner for a while, and some that I’d tried just didn’t cut it with my hair. My hair is very thick and dry so I’ve often longed for a lovely intense conditioner to hydrate and treat it. I decided to go for professional hair care this time by Redken which does a pretty good job in terms of hydrating it and making it look less bushy and dry when it’s just been washed. You’re supposed to use it between 5 – 15 minutes in your hair, I use it for the full 15 minutes and my hair is so soft afterwards.

Miracle Worker Smooth Serum by Umbert Giannini £8.75

I bought this with high hopes of taming my mane and de frizzing it, and I’m very glad I bought it. It does a good job with the above and makes it so shiny and smooth. It also has heat protection in too which is good if you like to style or blow dry your hair. It says to apply 4 – 8 pumps on the bottle, but I use about 3 which works well.

That’s it for my favourites this month, I hope you enjoyed this blog and I will be back with another blog post soon.
